I am honored to serve as your ENV Head Chair for this conference.<\/p>\n To tell you a bit about myself, when I first started MUN in 6th grade, I was terrified of speaking in front of others. Yet, even as I gained more experience, MUN always felt like jumping into an ice bath\u2014vulnerable, unnerving, and definitely out of my comfort zone. But just like how an ice bath becomes bearable (and even enjoyable) over time, I hope you will come to see MUN as something you can be passionate, driven, and excited about.<\/p>\n As your Head Chair, I\u2019m thrilled to share my enthusiasm for MUN with all of you.<\/p>\n Remember that the memories we make, the friendships we forge, and the photos we take will last far beyond this conference. This will be my second time as a chair in TianMUN, and although last year I was in General Assembly, the Environment Commission is probably my favorite committee, as I feel people tend to underestimate how imperative environmental issues are. My name is JunHa Bae, a junior at Tianjin International School, and it is my great honor for me to serve as your Deputy Chair for the Environment Commission at TIANMUN XIII this year.<\/p>\n With my best, I hope that there will be one of the best debate in this TIANMUN XIII. Since this is my first time chairing, I am especially excited to experience this conference from a new perspective as Im towards to all of enlightened solutions from up coming discussion. Reflecting on past experiences, I still remember that my very first committee was ENV, and I am thinking of ENV as a comfortable committee to start with if you are first to MUN, or even compatible committee that is filled with passion. I am planning to be a chair who understands most of the feeling toward MUN with perspective of my previously participated delegate experience until last MUN.
