My name is wonjun son, and I’m honored to serve as your head chair for TIANMUN XIII. I’m currently a senior at Tianjin International School, and this will be one of my final conferences before graduating. MUN has been a big part of my high school journey, and I’m excited to help make this experience meaningful and enjoyable for all of you. I look forward to seeing your ideas, debates, and diplomacy in action!

Welcome to TIANMUN XII! My name is Crystal Ra, a junior attending the International School of Tianjin. I am honored to serve as your chair in HRC for this year’s conference. While I may not have attended countless MUN conferences like some chairs, I bring to this role a wealth of passion, commitment, and hands-on experience.
I know what it feels like to be nervous at your first conference—those moments when your heart races before your first speech or when you question if your ideas are good enough. That’s why I’m here to ensure that every delegate, whether seasoned or completely new, feels supported, encouraged, and ready to contribute.
Remember that your contributions, no matter how large or little, have the ability to inspire others and spark meaningful debates. Let us work together to ensure that this conference is not only successful but also entertaining and memorable for everyone engaged.

Vanessa Chen
Hi all delegates, and welcome to this year’s TIANMUN conference! I’m Vanessa Chen, a sophomore at Dulwich College Beijing, and I’ll be one of your deputy chairs for the Human Rights Council. This is going to be my second time chairing, so it’s going to be a learning experience for me as well as all of you.
I know MUN can feel a little overwhelming at times (whether it’s your first conference or your tenth) but I promise, we’re all here to learn, grow, and support one another. Please don’t worry about being perfect, because what really matters is that you’re curious, engaged, and willing to speak up and share ideas.
