Head Chair

EunSu Kwon
Welcome to the TIANMUN 2025 World Health Assembly!
My name is EunSu Kwon, a senior attending Qingdao Daewon School. I am pleased to introduce myself as the head president of the World Health Assembly this year. The World Health Assembly serves as the governing body of the World Health Organization, binding delegates together to seek resolutions for the world’s most pressing health issues. Currently, there are many health and social issues, including high mortality rates in developing countries, malnutrition in infants, and Alzheimer’s disease in the aging population. I encourage all delegates to pay attention to these issues, seeking reliable and efficient resolutions.
Since I was a delegate who feared delivering a speech and presenting for the first time, I understand the delegates who avoid making their voice heard at the conference. However, one’s courage and will to change oneself can make a huge difference. During the conference, I will help the delegates not be stressed about making speeches and amendments, leading to fruitful debates. Working with HeeYu and Jaemin, I will put my effort into making sure all delegates enjoy the conference. Do not hesitate to reach out to the chairs, and I look forward to meeting you all in November!
Deputy Chair

HeeYu Cho
Welcome to TIANMUN XIII! I’m Heeyu Cho, a senior at the International School of Tianjin (IST). It is an honor to serve as the Deputy Chair of the World Health Association (WHA).
This conference is particularly special to me, as I also had the privilege of serving as the Deputy Chair of the WHA at TIANMUN XII last year.
Don’t worry if you don’t fully understand the topics or feel nervous about public speaking. The chairs will do their best to guide you through the debate and assist delegates who need help.
I hope every delegate will find the courage to step up at this upcoming conference and develop a long-lasting interest in MUN.
See you at the conference!
Deputy Chair

JaeMin Kim
My name is JaeMin Kim, a sophomore at Tianjin International School, and it is my honor to serve as your Deputy Chair for the World Health Assembly at TIANMUN XIII.
Thinking back to my first conference, I remember being deeply impressed by the passion and skill of fellow delegates, but I also understand the nerves and uncertainty that come with MUN. As your Deputy Chair, I assure you that those feelings are completely normal, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. This committee is a space for collaboration, growth, and spirited debate. I encourage you all to engage confidently, think critically, and, most importantly, enjoy the experience.
I look forward to witnessing your insightful solutions and the impactful discussions. See you soon!
