Special Conference (Deputy Chair) – JuWon Ha

Hello, I’m JuWon Ha – a sophomore at Tianjin International School. It’s my fourth year in MUN, and I am looking forward to serve as the deputy chair of TIANMUN 2017. It already has been a long time since my first MUN. On the first day of my first debating, I was frozen like an ice. I feared to speak in front of the people, and I was afraid that people would laugh at my speaking. Because of my fear, I spent the first day of debating just staring at what other delegates were saying. Next day, chair finally called me out to make me speak. I was totally puzzled as I walked to the podium, but as I started to speak, I rather felt relaxed and comfortable. Then, I started to enjoy the conference. Therefore, don’t afraid to make a speech or POIs, and enjoy the conference. I will try my best to make the conference better so that everyone can at least gain something from the conference.
