General Assembly 1 (Deputy Chair) – SeoungHun An

Hello, I am Seoung Hun An, currently a Junior at Tianjin International School. It is an utmost honor to be designated as the deputy chair of General Assembly 1 for TIANMUN 2017. This is my third year participating in Model United Nations, and this is my first time being a chair. I would like all of you to enjoy and benefit from this precious opportunity to partake in this  conference. No matter what your level is in debating or how prepared you are, just try to participate in the debates and don’t be scared to make a speech in front of others. MUN is not specifically aimed at professionals, but is rather aimed at students, who are still undergoing processes of learning. Try to challenge yourselves to become better speakers. I will try my best to make this conference to be as enjoyable as possible, and I hope you would all benefit at least something from this conference! I look forward to seeing all the resolutions to every issues and having a fruitful and active debate 🙂
