Human Rights Council (Deputy Chair) – JinA Han

Hello, this is JinA Han, currently a junior at Tianjin International School. I am very honored to serve you as the deputy chair of Human Rights Council in TIANMUN 2017. While I am preparing for my first conference as a chair, I could recall my experiences as a delegate. I use to be an ordinary, shy MUN delegate who was scared to raise her placard to give a speech or ask a POI, or to say “any and all POIs” after giving a speech. I am pretty sure that all of you, those who have been in past MUN conferences, have found delegates who seemed to be much more experienced than you are. I truly understand how you would have felt. But don’t let them put you down because they probably had same feelings as you before they could grow to be a skilled MUNer. Rather, learn from them, so that you could improve yourself. This includes delegates who are participating MUN for the first time. I encourage all of you to try your best. I will also do my best to serve you all as a chair. Hope to see you all soon at TIANMUN!
